1. The service
TestHero provides independent original NAPLAN-style and selective practice, a digital player and practice results. It is not operated by, endorsed by or equivalent to the official NAPLAN assessment.
2. Accounts and authority
Adults are responsible for their account credentials and for providing accurate information. Parents manage home learner profiles. Schools are responsible for their staff and student invitations and for authority to provide learner information.
3. Access and entitlements
Each home learner may use one free reduced-scope readiness check. Full papers and detailed home reports require paid access or an applicable pack entitlement. School assignments and score access follow the school’s licence. A paper or assignment permits one attempt unless the service explicitly provides another entitlement.
4. Practice attempts
Attempts may be timed and have section rules. When a timer expires, the attempt submits. An interrupted connection can affect answer delivery, so check submission status in the app. The service may suspend an attempt affected by misuse or a technical problem while it is reviewed.
5. Results and limitations
Practice scores and feedback are educational guidance, not official NAPLAN results, scale scores or guarantees of future performance. Writing feedback can take additional time and should be considered with teacher or parent judgement.
6. Paid access
Current prices, billing periods and payment terms are shown at checkout before purchase. School licence terms may be agreed separately. Access depends on a successful payment or an active licence as applicable.
7. Acceptable use
Use the service for lawful educational practice. Do not attempt to access another organisation’s information, disrupt the player, automate unauthorised attempts or copy and redistribute practice content outside the permissions given in the app.
